Subject: Seeking Creative & Guidelines Advice for a Drabble Concept (Pride Month Challenge)
Hello ma'am,
Good afternoon,
I hope you are doing well. As a writer and a Wattpad Ambassador, your insights mean a lot to me, and I’m currently facing a creative and moral dilemma regarding a story concept I want to submit for this week's drabble challenge.
The prompt requires the exact phrase: "and they were two men in love, on a journey to discover themselves" (exactly 100 words). I wanted to write an LGBTQ+ alternate mythology piece, but I am deeply worried if it might hurt religious sentiments, since I do not know any christian person personally, i thought I can get the right guideline from you only.
The Story Concept:
The First Tragedy:
Before Adam or Eve, God created another man (The Firstborn). Driven to despair by absolute isolation in Eden, he ate the forbidden fruit as an act of suicide and was cast down to earth.
The Replacement & Exile:
To replace him, God created Adam, but seeing him equally lonely, God made Eve. Eventually, they also ate the forbidden fruit and were exiled to earth.
Love at First Sight:
On earth, Adam meets the Firstborn. It’s instant, deeply profound love at first sight. Eve pretends to be happy for them, hiding her jealousy while waiting for the perfect moment.
The Magical Fruit & Deception:
The Firstborn discovers a magical fruit on earth and hears God’s voice declaring it the seed to multiply creation. He wants to share it with his true love, Adam. However, Eve exploits their trust, deceptively stealing and consuming half the fruit, then forcing Adam to eat the remaining half.
