The internet is too toxic and I'd like to stay away from it as much as possible. When I had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance last week because a panic attack was so bad I was terrified it was a heart attack... I realized that things need to change. Unplugging is going to be the biggest change for me, as is moving out of the country which I am also in the process of doing. Thanks to everyone who has supported me and given me constructive criticism (as in helpful, not insulting) over the years. To the younger writers, I sincerely wish you the best of luck and I'm sorry for any hate that comes your way. It didn't used to be this way and y'all deserve better. And remember, it's OKAY to unplug and walk away when people are hurting your mental health. There is no shame in prioritizing YOURSELF. I still believe in you and so do a lot of other people. The rest DON'T MATTER!
