My name is Anya. I'm 19 years old and currently in college studying to be a criminal investigator, but I also have been enamored with writing & being creative in general since I was little. I'm interested in pretty much everything that has to do with human behavior and the human mind.
I'm typically the therapist out of my friends because I'm always listening to what they have to say & giving advice when it's needed, but I have a hard time following my own. But with that in mind, I want you to know that this is a safe place for anyone struggling with their racial/ethnic identities; that are questioning their genders and/or sexualities; or identifies as a member of the LGBT+ community (and I mean ANYONE that identifies as anything that strays from the idea that "everyone should be heterosexual and comfortable with the gender that they were born with".
Because honestly, screw that way of thinking. Love who you love and be comfortable with who you are and identify as. Even people that aren't questioning their genders or sexualities are welcome here. Like I said, this is a safe space.
I'm biracial, questioning my sexuality & struggling with body image and my racial identity, so I understand your struggles and that we need to be able to grow and thrive as individuals & as a community.
But if you are:
*homophobic, transphobic, bi-phobic, acephobic, or racist
*misogynist, sexist, or intolerant of women/men/other genders
*making fun of disabilities, veteran or social statuses, or body-shaming
*or spreading hate about other cultures, races, and ethnicities just because they are different from yours
Either keep it to yourself or stay off of my page, thanks.
If you ever feel the need to cry and vent to me, my DMs are open. Just keep in mind that I am a college student & an older sibling, so my time is always built around my schedule.
Spread love, not hate.
