spontaneous fits of writing that i want to catch before they escape me - i used to write so much more but i'm trying to think about writing the same way that i think about visual art. it doesnt have to be GOOD, it doesn't have to be breathtaking, but you should damn well enjoy making it. i can write WHATEVER i want to and i don't have to satisfy anyone else. reminding myself of this opens my eyes to creativity and subjects that i typically wouldn't explore due to fear or judgement or incompetence.  not to say that love is unappreciated, but just that love comes and goes and i don't have to go with it.
