[      chris arched a brow, but the effect was ruined when jill bumped his shoulder, playful but solid enough to make him sway.     his smile tugged wider..    ]      right.   and you just happened to take down three guys in under ten seconds because… what, muscle  memory?

told you i wouldn’t leave you in a carlos-less world,  right?  —- oh,  and this time will i be the one getting saved? i wouldn’t mind.

@faIIenhero     *        haven't we always been a great team, chris.   (  her own smile grew at his words. if she had to team with anyone, it would be him in a heartbeat.  )   i wouldn't want anyone else as my partner.  

@2orcus   *          how are you holding up? you haven't said all that much.  *  looks up at him with a raised eyebrow, chuckling softly.  *   i made sure not to waste it. only used what was necessary.
