My name is Ashley.
I have been writing for as long as I can remember. I used to drift away during classes, into my own stories, jotting down character notes and storylines when I should have been grounded in my lectures. I had an affinity for writing essays longer than was required of me. I grew up attaining a lot of A+'s and creative writing awards for the hours I put into my work.

I'm also deeply in love with books. I love the way that they feel, and smell. One of the greatest gifts my grandparents ever passed down to me was their library and the importance they found in having one.

I've fallen in and out of writing over the years, and admittedly have spent too much time sharing that spectacular part of myself with people who haven't valued that vibrant part of my being. But now, I'm changing that. I'm putting pen to paper because I value that part of me.
