Hi there! I’m a manager for an event hosted in the Dreamland Community Discord server called Write That Sentence. I just wanted to let you know that your book was used for this event where players are given the blurb of a book and try to guess its real first sentence. They’ll write what they think could be the opening line, and then everyone guesses which one is real.
          
          Only the first sentence of your story and its blurb are shared, and everything stays within the game.
          
          If you’d like to see what people came up with or just check it out, you’re more than welcome to join the server! I can provide the link, if you like.

hello humans, it's time for yet another update from your local angsty boi. we'll pretend that it hasn't been months again since the last one:
          
          1) writing has begun on the expansion of the novella, not my type, that i wrote in 2020 about a vampire who gets blood poisoning. i'm expanding a lot of things and really giving the slowburn queerplatonic relationship a chance to bloom this time. so, you have that to look forward to. three chapters have been posted so far and i am working very hard on creating a buffer so i can resume somewhat regular posting for it. i'll send another announcement once updates resume but in the meantime, you can find it here:

          I've got exciting news to share. As some of you already know, I wrote Factory Reset for the Open Novella Contest this year. The contest is now over and the final results were announced just a few days ago and,,,
          
          FACTORY RESET GOT HONORABLE MENTION!!
          
          So did a lot of other people I know, too!

          For those unfamiliar with ONC, it's a big deal for my story to earn this title. It's also super validating to see all my efforts paid off in such a big way like this.
