Hi queen! I just wanted to say that I love your work and your energy and that you inspired me to write a book myself. I just wanted to know if you had any tips for beginner writers? I’ve always gotten good scores on creative writing in lang and lit but when it comes to detailed story’s like these, what would you say are some things to keep in mind when unfolding the story? Also if there are any other writers here pls pls pls drop your tips! Love uuuuuu

@therealpastelrose i've learned a lot over the years but a huge part is a good balance between description and dialogue. yes, description is important, but dialogue is super important as well. i typically like dialogue better myself, and i definitely prefer to read dialogue. description adds to what's happening in the story. a good balance between the two is great. another thing i would say to keep watch of is formatting. when i first started writing, formatting was not a big thing for me. although now, i'd say it's one of the things i look out for the most. correct formatting is largely important, especially if you're writing/planning on writing a novel, book, short story, or poem. this mainly includes dialogue (commas, quotation marks, exclamation marks, citations, etc.) and phrasing (capital letters, indentations, etc.). these are big red flags for writers such as myself because formatting can make or break if i want to read your work. i hope these tips helped!! lmk if you have any questions. thanks for asking this princess, ttyl :) <3
