Ladies and ladies, here's the moment we’ve all (not) been waiting for, the winner of the (implied) "Main Character Guessing Contest" of IKYWT is.. @Saypaneer . Yes, our paneer, who somehow took one look at the story and said, "I’ve read enough and I've cracked it". Not so subtle second guesses with every chapter, but who cares, brilliance is celebrated for getting it right in first attempt. Also, the said paneer is currently vibrating with 'main-to-nhi-hu-insanon-mein' energy. With her own undeniable main character energy, sharp thinking, and an eye for detail that clearly misses nothing (not even a typo and being nonchalant enough to not point it out, thank you), she managed to solve what was supposed to be an extremely difficult challenge… and made it look very easy. I, augustsanity, who, for the record, does not remember when this contest was even organized, am incredibly impressed, and very proud to announce her as the winner. This victory belongs entirely to her brains, her wit, and that natural instinct you just can’t teach. Congratulations, paneer!! Truly well deserved *claps* (Ps- no, this was not announced on gunpoint, i think)

@aanyashah1090 oh achaaa.. i don't remember much of mocha. I only looked into it initially when I came across August's profile. And I didn't know Kush-Sanju then. So the memory's foggy. By the time I completed Americano, Mocha was unpublished.

Hi @augustsanity! Just read the deleted chapter of Cortado. I love Ridhi , she is a star for me. Kudos to you for her character arc and also Shaan's. It's just my personal thought, i felt like sharing with you. I believe Cortado has the scope to be a novel. Both the leads have got strong and contrasting energy, adding in their occupation, it brings into picture a cybersecurity/suspense thriller romance. Personally, I would love to explore more on Shaan's murder threat or them collorabiting on a different case. These are just my thoughts, no pressures! And great work <3

@SoundhariyaGS thank you so much soundhariya, it means a lot! You seeing the potential in cortado to be a novel, that's the nicest compliment I've received. Actually i didnt plan to make it a thriller initially, i had the storyline framed in my head to make shaan the ultimate target, but the idea to announce it as thriller or adding more tid-bits of the mission would have created doubt in readers mind, and then ultimately guessing shaan involved in all this wont be difficult for anyone considering he's the lead ofc. I think the thrill would be lost then; the reactions i got from the readers in that particular part of the story was amazing only because they never thought from that tangent.. it was just shaan being his dramatic self throughout and riddhi getting soft for him, just another romcom, clichè, until it wasn't! But i truly appreciate your words, and I'd think about it, adding details which wont directly aim at it being a thriller where possibilities of shaan being involved are less. Thanks again! ✿‿✿
