hey there everyone, Assalamu Alaikum!
          
          i used to thank you all for ever 10 new followers I got, but this time I'll take a different approach.
          
          i truly hope you're following me because you like either my questions here or my content or me xD. I want you to stay because you genuinely want to, not for an extra folloe
          
          on that note, i'd like to re-introduce myself. i may have not reached 10k followers yet, but now? I don't really care about the number of followers I gain. i just want there to be people who feel seen through my stories, who feel heard and represented, and who remember their Lord and their purpose with my characters and I.
          
          so here's me: Hey there, I'm Zunairah! I go by my pen name, Avian Muslimah, which shows my love for birds and Islam. I'm 17 years old now, I'm pretty sure most of you knew. 
          
          and, i'm aiming to write Islamic fiction that resonates with the youth of the muslim Ummah, remind them to do good, warn them to not fall into sin, and encourage repentance. my characters are flawed just as we are, and I want to show my readers that Islam is not a restrictive religion, rather a freeing one. it is culture and society and the world around us that makes us think we're chained. but is a warning sign in front of a blazing fire considered restrictive? "Warning: Huge flames ahead." Does the sign make you feel restrictive since it's preventing you from going ahead - into the fire?
          
          that's a thought i'd like to close on.
          
          thank you to the 350+ people who have stayed and decided to follow along. thank you not for the pressing of the button, but for being the reason i keep returning, being the reason i keep writing, being the reason i feel motivated to do my best. thank you for making me better than the person i was last year, thank you for being here with me and showing me your support. it does mean a lot to me.

          Just to give you a brief overview, it's a thriller with healing and bonding, and found-family or - refound family i guess . Anyway, it's chock-full of suspense and drama so inshallah it'll captivate you!
