let the passing of chadwick boseman teach all of you a lesson:
everyone is going through a battle you know nothing of, be kind, always.
to think that this man was body shamed, made fun of, criticized all over social media and by media outlets, whilst battling one of the most evil diseases on this planet, leaves me sick to my stomach.
we should not, under any circumstances, feel so entitled to comment on one’s physical appearance, when knowing absolutely nothing about them. assuming, making fun of, criticizing one’s sudden physical changes, is disgusting and cruel. let this be a lesson to all of you who have made fun of this man for months now, you know nothing aside from what you see.
someone’s weight loss isn’t your playground. someone’s weight gain isn’t your playground. people’s physical appearance is not for you to judge, to criticize, to make memes out of for your own personal gain. please learn to do better, learn to respect others and to be kind to others.
