@Aling_30 Hello po! Thank you for your wonderful question—eme. Medyo late ko na-realize na dapat naisama ko na agad ‘to sa POV nina Mia or Aleksandr sa first draft pa lang. Kaya ngayon, plano ko talagang i-revise ang buong story kapag natapos ko na ang buong installment ng series. Pero for now, here’s the (incomplete) answer:
            
            Mia’s parents lived a simple and poor life in the province. Before that, her father worked in Manila and fell into debt while trying to provide for their family. Nabanggit ko rin sa POV ni Mia na she’s paying for something she didn’t cause—ang utang ng papa niya na lumaki nang lumaki dahil sa tagal na hindi nababayaran.
            
            When Aleksandr found out about Mia, he talked to his father, who used to be her father’s employer. He proposed that Mia herself would serve as the “payment.” Aleksandr secretly watched over her and funded her studies, which eventually led to his decision to marry her right after she earned her teacher’s license.
