@-redspies ⠀⠀ “we can get you in for some scans to see if it is your ribs,” aleyna offered the woman her own smile, even if she couldn’t actually see it since she had looked away. “if your ribs are broken, i will have to suggest that you don’t do what you normally do, at least for a little while, just to make sure they heal properly.”

@-redspies ⠀⠀ “i will always help, it’s my job to do so. and guardian angel? pfft, no, i’m just exceptionally skilled in being a caretaker.” aleyna offered the woman a smile before that smile turned into a frown rather fast. “what happened?”

          * AHHHH. thank you, fox! <3

@-redspies ⠀⠀ was there a way to lock down the hospital? she knew there was a lockdown procedure, it just wasn’t the one this unfamiliar woman may have been thinking of. “not that i know of, but i’m sure we could come up with something,” aleyna assured the woman as she continued her walk to where the staff kept a specific kind of medication. listening to the words, a pit formed in aleyna’s stomach. nineteen hours for someone to fully shift from man to monster? jesus, the virus was a quick one. “neither have i,” she admitted before opening a door with her badge and shoving it open. “how long does she have before this vaccine won’t work?”

@-redspies ⠀⠀ it was a good thing she grew up with a military father, he prepared her for the worse case scenarios more often than not. “i’ve got just the thing if you’ll follow me,” she turned on her heels and started walking. “the hospital hasn’t been touched by the virus, at least i don’t think, so this entire thing should be filled with survivors. so, uh… how long after biting or scratching does this virus take over and they turn?” she would like to know, just in case any of the staff or patients look like they’ve been bitten or scratched.

          * i will, i promise. and i miss you too! it hasn’t been super long but it’s been long enough since we’ve talked! <33

@-redspies ⠀⠀ the blonde doctor blinked for a few moments, processing what the woman just said. “so, it’s like one of those zombie apocalypse movies but it’s actually happening?” she took the knife despite the questioning, taking no time to adjust to holding it. she learned at a young age how to handle multiple different weapons thanks to her father being a retired military man. “i can take you to them, but what specific medications are you looking for?”

          * i’m glad you’ve been great! i’m pretty good! haven’t been outside in days because of the constant thunderstorms (‘: thank you for asking! <3 (it’s okay, my wifi’s been pretty shitty because of the storms)
