SNEAK PEAK FOR BASTARDS 14
          
          "I don't want it. Can't you send me to a sept? I swear, you'll never hear from me again." She felt sick. Her stomach was empty, but she was sure she was going to throw up.
          
          "That would be the opposite of what we want, child." A gentle smile played on Otto's lips. Aurora had never seen him smile like that before. At least not when it came to her. But it wasn't loving. More like joyful. The taste in her mouth turned bitter. Her gaze went to her mother, who didn't even look at her.
          
          Look at me. Stay with me and protect me.
          
          But Alicent did nothing of the sort. She never did anything for her. That hadn't changed now. And it probably never would, Aurora realized bitterly.
          
          Aurora looked again at her grandfather, who was sitting with one leg on the table, his fingers folded in his lap. His gaze was knowing. He knew what he was doing to her. And he didn't care. Perhaps he even enjoyed it.
          
          "You didn't think we'd just drop this subject, did you? Especially now, when we need alliances more than ever."
          
          To hells with the alliances, Aurora wanted to scream. 
          
          She knew what he was getting at. The Greens hadn't just suffered a defeat today. Rhaenys Targaryen hadn't just sealed a deal for the Blacks. She herself had confirmed it before everyone's eyes. And Otto had been powerless to do anything more. But was this her fate now? Was it tied to this? Was she being used to balance something? 
          
          "I can't do this. Please don't force me." Her plea sounded so incredibly pathetic, even to her own ears, that she felt a moment of shame. At least until she remembered what would happen if her pleas fell on deaf ears. Did her father want it too?
          
          "The question is, Aurora—if you can't even do this, what use are you to us?"
          
          And not for the first time in her life, she wished she had never been born.

          Her heart pounded against her chest. Aemond’s threat spread through her body like wildfire. She wanted to know what he would do if she didn’t obey his command. If she did what she wanted. She wanted to know the consequences. She wanted to hear him say it.
          
          “And if it isn’t clear to me?” Her voice was soft but clear.
          
          Say it, Aemond. What would you do to me?

          I noticed that you had disappeared for a while, and honestly it made me a little worried. I also saw what happened with the translation of your story without your permission, and I’m really sorry that happened to you. As someone who translates stories, it makes me deeply upset to see something like that, because I know how much dedication, love, and effort an author puts into every chapter they write. No one deserves to have their work used like that.
          
          But I also wanted to tell you something very important: I truly hope you don’t stop writing. It’s very clear, in every word you write, how much you love telling stories — and that is something rare and precious.
          
          I’m almost finished reading A Crown of Blood, and I just have to say that I absolutely love it. Truly… it had been a long time since a story moved me this much. You made me cry in several moments, and that says a lot about how powerful, emotional, and beautiful your writing is.
          
          You are an incredibly talented author, and your stories touch people in such a deep way. I sincerely hope you keep writing and sharing your talent with the world, because it deserves to be seen and felt by so many people.

          It's been a long time, and I'm sure you're wondering why this message is suddenly appearing.
          
          unfortunately, it's not good news.
          
          A very attentive reader pointed out to me that my story The blood crown has been translated into another language. Without any notice about me being the original author.
          
          I would like to make it clear here that if there are stories that represent this one or my others in another language,  permission must of course be obtained. I do not object to my stories being translated. But I do object to my stories being presented as someone else's. 
          
          If translators have my permission, you will find the works on my profil notice. If you cannot find the stories there, I would ask you to inform me immediately. 
          
          I have put a lot of effort into this story, as I have into my others, and invested a great deal of thought and time in it. I think it's a shame that someone is passing off my story as their own. It makes me sad that me and my work are being treated this way.
          
          I'm sorry to have to bother you with this message. 
          
          Finally, I would like to say once again to all readers that I am always happy to read comments about my story. It is always a great pleasure for me.
