Should i take down GANGSTA? ㅜ ㅜ

i just heard from a friend that wattpad has been taking down books with explicit content. i do have warnings before those chapters, and there’s nothing non-consensual or involving underage characters in the story, but i’m still worried that it could get taken down anyway.

The bigger problem is that i don’t have a backup of it rn! 😭 So i’m not sure what i should do. Should i take it down temporarily and figure out a backup, or leave it up for now? i'd really hate to lose the whole book, especially after all the work that’s gone into it.

What do you guys think i should do? 🥲

@bangteenxtdoor also you should start publishing your books on ao3. It’s so much better than Wattpad! And literally 90% of the twitter fanbase is connected to ao3

@bangteenxtdoor first, mark that story as mature in your story setting. For non-mature books, explicit content is strictly limited. And in that book, if the smut is eventual and just supportive to the plot, then it’s fine. For backup, you can download your book or just keep it in your notes app. Your book doesn’t seem applicable to be taken down by the way

Omg why tf is btsdisband hashtag trending on twitter?? Like the fuck is wrong with these ppl? My whole youtube feed is filled with videos showing why bts should disband like hello? Tf is your problem?

Other fandoms cant stand that their faves cant hit the top without trying to pull bts down first. The ultimate irony? Half these younger groups literally cite BTS as the reason they wanted to become idols in the first place.

ppl love throwing around comparisons like how newer groups like cortis blew up fast, while bts took five years to break global records. Let’s be clear, bts fought through a hostile industry, built an entire blueprint from a broke agency, and paved the actual highway that today’s rookies are cruising on. Newer groups get to skip the initial struggle becuz bts bled for it first. No hate to groups like cortis, I actually adore them- and it’s not their fault their stans don't understand how industry growth works.

And the whining about awards season? Saying "so many good tracks will lose to swim just because of BTS's fame"? Be serious fr. Like hello? That fame didn't fall out of the sky. BTS didn't inherit an empire, they built one with blood, sweat, and ten-plus years of non-stop effort.

Trending a disband tag out of pure jealousy isn't going to erase history, and it's certainly not going to make anyone else’s group the biggest in the world. Keep stream-stacking hate videos while BTS keeps dominating. Stay mad.

@TataGelashvili a Japanese girl group called f5ve recently reposted a reel with a hashtag btsdisband and since then many so called kpoppies started trending the same hashtag for no apparent reason and accusing bts for being misogynists because of the recent chris brown controversy when their idols had openly supported chris brown in the past as well and also are bringing up the past where namjoon unknowingly used the N word and had apologized for the same back then, he had said he didn't know. And then bringing up the breast cancer event controversy and again there were other idols present there as well but no, they just want a reason to target bts. It's so frustrating tbh
