@ChiZuki Thanks! I'll get it up probably by this weekend. I have a test to study for and plenty of homework before then.

@beth8507 I don't think that I could completely give up on TCP, but I think I just need to take a step away from it. I've never finished a story and I think I probably need a finished one under my belt before I will have the skills that I feel I will need in order to tell it as it's meant to be told. I'm not at all worried about boring the reader (though I'm sure that some may not like that type of story or like my writing style) because for the most part, it's very fast-paced. I have a lot of fear in writing it. If I do it the way that I know it needs to be told, I think that it will be published. I just have to get my skills to the level where they need to be.

I'll keep chugging away at it, but I may concentrate on Seriously, Horrible and another story that I'd like to revisit in the meantime. I'm sure I can probably make that other story sing, whereas TCP isn't quite within my grasp.

Who knows. I might wake up tomorrow morning and know exactly what to do with TCP. I'm a nutcase like that.

@SomewhatDistracted Aww don't give up on your book!! Is it just that the two chapters are boring or what is it that discourages you from writing them? You should definitely believe in yourself and be open to the mistakes you know you're going to make. Write it anyway, then reread and rewrite... And send it to me so I can help you...whenever you get around to it.

@beth8507 You forgot to tag me in that post! It's confusing because I think you basically have to hit reply twice.

I've done a little bit of writing on it, though I've become really discouraged with it. I'm beginning to think that it might be wiser for me to put it away until I have some more experience. I'll probably keep chugging away at it, but I don't know that I have the skills to tell it like it should be told.
