Hey author, I’m not sure about every detail, but I wanted to inform you about something serious that’s been happening in the Wattpad community.
          
          From what I understand, there was controversy involving an author (Anaverse) related to an large age-gap relationship portrayed in her book. When readers and other authors raised concerns, things escalated badly. There have been reports of harassment, threats, and organized targeting of people who spoke against it.
          
          Now it seems a group (possibly connected to that situation) is actively targeting Indian Wattpad authors. Several well-known authors have already lost their Instagram accounts, and recently even Wattpad books and author accounts are being mass-reported and taken down. Because of this, many writers are temporarily unpublishing their stories to protect their work.
          
          I’m telling you this because I genuinely care about your books and your hard work. Please consider backing up your stories and, if you feel unsafe, temporarily unpublishing the ones without backups. It might also help to post a notice on Instagram and Wattpad and spread awareness so other authors can stay cautious.
          It’s really upsetting to see creators losing their work like this, so I just wanted to warn you and make sure you stay safe.
