          I can’t believe I’m typing this… but we did it!! 
          
          The Smile on Page 187 has officially qualified for Round 2 of the Open Novella Contest 2026!! 
          
          Thank you from the bottom of my heart to every single person who read, voted, commented, or even just opened the story. Your support means more than I can say — especially because this is my very first ONC and I was so nervous!
          
          To celebrate, I just added a brand new (and much longer) Chapter 7: Small Cracks in the Ice. Livia and Julien’s story is growing, the emotions are deepening, and I’m so excited to keep sharing it with you.
          
          If you haven’t started yet, now is the perfect time — we’re at over 8,000 words and the story is getting even better.
