          its been... almost a year id say 
          
          first of all, so sorry for disappearing like that, i genuinely thought i'd come back and continue this story, but life happened and writing just wasn't happening for me.
          
          i came back recently, reread everything, and realized i just can't continue this version anymore.
          
          i still love aloura and harry. i always will. but after being away for so long, i don't really connect with this story the way i used to, and i don't want to force myself to write it just for the sake of finishing it.
          
          so i'm going to discontinued it and start over with a whole new story cuz i miss writing.
          
          thank you to everyone who read, voted, commented, and stuck around. i appreciate it more than you know.
          
          i'm not done writing, though. i just need a fresh start with a new story.
          
          if you're still around when i post again, i'd love to see you there. and if not, thank you for reading this one while it lasted.

GUYYYSSS BREAKING NEWSS :(
          
          So… I’ve made the decision to delete all my fics except Riptide.
          
          Here’s why:
          	1.	I’ve realized I really can’t multitask.
          	2.	It’s probably best for me to focus on one story at a time.
          	3.	With college starting in just three days, I know I won’t be able to juggle everything.
          
          I’m really sorry if this disappoints anyone. Thank you so much for the support you’ve given me so far—it means the world.
          
          That said… I can’t promise there won’t be future table-turns (getting my priorities straight is not my strongest suit). But for now, it’s just me, Riptide, and trying not to drown in assignments.

          also i dont wanna be annoying or anything (i fear i already done a lil too much of that today) but i wanted to ask u, author to author, how u get so much engagement for ur stories? bc although i get views it seems like little to no one has anything to say or critique lol so yeah
          
          otherwise i can’t wait for chapter 2!

hullo thereee, first and foremost, you’re absolutely not annoying me and i really appreciate all your words <33 tysm !
            
            honestly, i don’t even really know how engagement works tbh. i’ve been writing on and off for years — i even gave up for like three years, and when i started again earlier this year it was really unstable. i kept deleting, rewriting, republishing… basically just making a mess of things srsly ‍♀️
            
            so i wouldn’t say i have some secret formula or anything. i just write what i love and sometimes people connect with it, sometimes it’s quieter. i think a lot of it just depends on timing (?) and who happens to come across your story.
            
            so yeah, i really don’t have it figured out either, but i’m super grateful for anyone who does take the time to read and comment :)
