Hello, dear reader, and welcome to the madhouse!

I'm Brandy, a guy in his twenties who's been lurking around the universe of fan fiction (and, way more recently, original fiction sites as well) for a good decade or so, since accidentally stumbling upon it and becoming hooked. Indeed, some ideas have been swirling around in my mind SINCE THEN (!), and it was only recently that I decided to finally take action and organise those thoughts into actual readable words.

Something I shall stick to is the golden rule of "do not start if you don't have at least an idea of how you want it to end". This, after enduring a lot of suffering through very well-written stories, only to discover they'd been left abandoned with no hope for an update... *sigh*

Something of note... At one point or another, you might realise my written world has quite a number of differences from our actual timeline - this after I spent too much time having fun with alternate flags and country names, leading me to stumble into the world of alternate history - something I've also fallen in love with, leading me to bring two and two together and do this rather massive "worldbuilding exercise"!

My list of favourite authors is rather diverse, varying from Suzanne Collins and C. S. Lewis to Arthur C. Clarke, Kim Stanley Robinson and Andy Weir - a pretty clear indication of what I enjoy reading, if you ask me!
