dear cadarino, i think i am the only one left. cad i dont know if youll read this but these books changed my life i first read these b4 my 9th grade year and am now in 11th i have rambled the whole plot and my theories to all my friends i filled a whole journal with drawings and info about the characters and have written and rewritten summaries so i wont forget this. You were the first fanfiction/fandom experience for me you inspired me too start writing and now im moving and you deserve to know how special you are to me. im moving on in life just like you did and i wanted to say thank you before i left. you and your books shaped my life (literally my relationship rn parallels ollinnit and luvboo). anyway cad all that to say youre great and i wish you the best thanks. with love, Luna
I think about these books a lot less then i think my past self would’ve ever expected or even planned on, especially with how obsessed i was. I honestly wasn’t even that big into the MCYT/DSMP fandoms until i read Ineffable.
Which even then i wasn’t very invested, just enough to get by lol.
Anyways, i have a lot of thanks to give you for having me maintain my love of reading in a pandemic, as well as just continue to love reading and specific words. I begged my mom to get a book of just fascinating pretty words and i laugh about it now but i begged for a dictionary for like 3 Christmases in a row lmao. I’m sure i’ll come back to give more thanks some other day, but as for my last few times i’ll be in here for the year all i have to say it thank you sm for what you did. i hope you continue writing, you truly have such a talent ❤️❤️

It’s just so crazy how these people were once such a big part of my life, during the most transformative years, but now I cringe every time I look back. You’re an extremely talented writer and I hope you’re doing well. I remember one time you were talking about preparing for a speech on gun control and I really admire that
it also didn’t help that i really didn’t want to be associated w/ a lot of the characters derived from real people, it had very much felt like i had made my own characters based off of them but it wasn’t plausible considering the circumstances
there was a lot i had planned, unfortunately just too much to lead up to and not enough time to write it lol

@pearlescentpotato Like I’m not even in the fandom anymore and I’m barely on Wattpad, but when I am on here I always check up on everything on this side of town and look back at what was once my present and is now my past
every now and again I'll come and reread all the books they impacted my life so much when I was younger I really love them and always have they are what really got me into reading and even if I'm barely on Wattpad now especially the past 2ish years I still come back and read them at least once a year to bring back the memories thanks a lot for making them and keeping them up even after the stuff thats happened with previous dsmp members

Anytime I log back into the app the first and sometimes even only thing I do is check in on this community. The series was so impactful only the readers will understand. If i want to feel something with a sense of freedom or nostalgia I come to this series. So glad to see tie community somewhat active.

I was reading the description of one of the new episodes on Tommy and Jack’s podcast and saw the words “Tom has become really into cleaning” in the description with the ep title being “we almost got kidnapped”. I had so many flashbacks lolll. This era was a great part of my life and your work is still amazing
