I grew up writing...on scraps of paper, in the margins of my phone screen, and most often, inside my own head. Words became my quiet escape, a place where thoughts could wander freely and emotions could exist without judgment.

For a long time, my poems stayed hidden, known only to me. It was my cousin who encouraged me to share them with the world, reminding me that someone, somewhere, might find comfort in the same words that once comforted me.

I don't write because I have all the answers. I write because some feelings are too heavy to carry in silence.

If my poems find a home in your heart, then perhaps we were never strangers to begin with.
