(i’m fucked.) he thinks, because he actually sucks at planning. but he doesn’t say that out loud. instead, he turns his gaze to kurama’s outfit.      “   you.. look nice.   “       he tells the taller, (totally not changing the subject!)  anyway, he did mean it.       “   honestly, i didn’t plan anything special,, there was a new cafe that opened yesterday, so i thought it’d be a good idea to try it out.   “

@camealive:  [kurama didn’t have a selection of clothing for this sort of event, but that was because the concept of dating never interested him to begin with. however, when prompted to hang out, kurama had gone out of his way to at least buy a nice set of pants and a good shirt to go out in. when he appears in front of rei, the captain wore a pair of sunglasses that rested neatly on the bridge of his nose.]  where are we going?  [hands slip into the comfort of his jeans, laid back as he urged the photographer to go on and take them to wherever they needed to be.]  yeah, i want to see what you have planned for us today, rei.

@camealive:  [he couldn’t really determine whether or not that was a lot, but it was safe to say he wasn’t pleased by the answer. his touch was a bit more harsh, nail quietly dug into the plush of the other’s bottom lip before he began to smile. an idea,]  that’s good.  [with a bit of hesitance, his own body leaning forward again until his lips slotted together again with rei.]  i’d be disappointed if i was just a test for you,  [although hypocritical.]

@camealive:  how many partner’s have you had?  [something twisted shifts inside his chest cavity, and kurama felt like his heart was being wrenched entirely. why would anything of his even think to go anywhere else besides where he was? a pause,]  do what more? you should tell me.  [kurama notes, index finger raised in order to slowly draw along rei’s bottom lip thoughtfully.]

part time barista, part time school photographer, full time loser—  that might be the simplest way to describe aomori rei. a professional troublemaker, he’s the constant headache of teachers and the school council,, except for when he’s dutifully snapping pics at events and competitions. most of the time. rei is dismissive of most academic matters, but somehow his grades manage to stay afloat. not amazing, not terrible.. nothing particularly remarkable and not enough to raise concerns to uncaring parents. when rei isn’t being (begrudgingly) carted off to photograph for various school events and wherever their sports teams might be heading to for the next big competition, he’s slaving away (his own words) at the coffee shop next door. if you can’t find him even then, try the park twenty minutes or so from school.. he might be there, just trying to escape from the burdens of life. even if only for a little while. then it’s back to work, day after day for a future he can barely see himself.
