About KWL, I’m really sorry for disappearing. I got burned out, and life happened. As cliché as that sounds, that’s honestly what it was.
As for why I unpublished it… I think pressure finally caught up to me. KWL kept growing every single day, and I’m genuinely grateful for that. But along with that came the comments about dropping the story because of the slow updates, or comparing it to other stories. I don’t really care about comparisons—I’ve never believed stories should compete with each other. They all have their own pace, their own audience.
But I’d be lying if I said it never got to me.
I built KWL from the ground up. Brick by brick, chapter by chapter. So somewhere along the way, I found myself writing with the weight of everyone’s expectations instead of simply enjoying the process. And that’s when I realized I needed to step away.
So no, I didn’t unpublish KWL because I was giving up on it. I unpublished it because I want to give it the ending it deserves. I can’t promise a timeframe yet, but I can promise this: when KWL comes back, it comes back completed. No more waiting months for a new chapter. No more wondering when the next update will be.
I just need a little more time. I hope you guys can trust me on this one.
