Hey, folks! I will be making some pretty substantial edits on "Submissioner Gordon" in the coming weeks, mostly for readability. Sometimes once a work is done, you realize some things you wrote early on need tweaking to fit better in the overall story arc. If you get notifications, this is why!

Hi, friends! Jim Gordon and Claire Greene are back for Kinkuary 2023— a fest of daily kink prompts taking place over on AO3. I got caught up on posting the drabbles over here on Wattpad as well, to a new work entitled “The One He Needs Right Now: Jim Gordon’s Kinkuary.”

ANNOUNCEMENT!! Big Deal... but first, some business.
          
          Chapter 41 "Mr. and Mrs." is up in Submissioner Gordon. Jim and Claire spend their wedding night making love in the honeymoon suite of the old inn in Lavender Bay. As they reflect on their past together, nervousness about their return to Gotham begins to set in.
          
          This is the last of the California chapters. After this one, the final three chapters see a return to Gotham and a couple of time jumps.
          
           
          
          Originally, we were only going to publish 43 chapters instead of 44. But we decided we couldn't have all this damn sex in a fic and then skip over the main couple's wedding night. That would just be wrong, right? So consider this a bonus chapter of sorts...
          
          So, big author-life announcement I had to share. Celestialsister0918 is headed to Palm Springs next weekend to see Gary Oldman live at a film screening! I'm so stinkin' excited. So there won't be a Friday update next week (11/18), but I'll TRY to sneak one more chapter in on the Wednesday before if I can. :)

We did promise chapters would be coming more frequently now that they are all written, and here is another! "You and Me, We've  Both Got Sins" was just posted in Submissioner Gordon.
          
          Gruber and Gordon attempt a drunken heart-to-heart after touring Hans's newly acquired vineyard, and his lavender fields serve as a backdrop to Claire and the Commissioner's big day.

A personal favorite chapter going up today! "When You Come Undone."
          
          Jim embraces sensory play, which allows him to come into his own as a soft, intuitive, and compassionate Dom. Claire finds liberation under his control, and their voyeurs find their own connection through witnessing such a steamy, sensual scene...

Update to the previous announcement… Submissioner Gordon will come in at 44 chapters… not 43. We decided to add a short little chapter!
          
          And the next installment is up… entitled “Glasses Not Asses.” Expect some kinky Hans Gruber and some voyeuristic fun for the main couple…

Hey there, friends. Chapter 33 of Submissioner Gordon is up, entitled "'Butter' Not Get Caught." As the title might suggest, it's mostly comic relief but with some plot implications as well. Kink is back, as are Mistress and Toy. 
          
          Also announcing: the "writing" part of this fic is complete. We will in fact be at 43 chapters. Just a matter of editing and posting at this point, so we anticipate more frequent updates.

Chapter 32 of Submissioner Gordon is up... Valentine's Day in Gotham brings old-fashioned romance and some impulsive decisions.

I know I promised a Thursday update on Submissioner Gordon, but tomorrow’s going to be crazy… so you get the chapter a day early!
          
          This honestly is one of my favorite chapters I’ve written in any of my works ever… only because I LIVE to write dialogue-heavy banter scenes between Gary Oldman and Alan Rickman. They seriously make me happier than anything else in the world. Weird as that may be, here is Chapter 31, “The Only Girl That Matters.”

          I’m gone for well over a week on a family trip but will post chapter 32 upon my return… which also happens to be another one of my favorites, because it’s chock full of old-fashioned romance.

Gordon and Gruber are forced to team up against a ghost from Norman Stansfield's past in order to save Claire. Chapter 30, "The Cop and the Criminal" is live now in Submissioner Gordon. 
          
          Next week's chapter will come a day early on Thursday, then no updates for a bit while I (celestialsister0918) am traveling. But next week's chapter happens to be my personal fave... so stay tuned!
