MESSAGE THREAD | 1/4
          
          I know I’ve been MIA recently, but I just want to share little accomplishments of mine that I want to celebrate.  
          
          June 8 - June 29 
          
          That is how long it took me before I could edit ROOD and write new chapters. I’ve been making lots of changes in ROOD—the chapters’ length, timeline, order of events per chapter, and etc. 
          
          My goal is to finish this story before the year ends so that I can publish my second book by 2023, pero mahirap ‘yung pinepressure ang sarili na kailangan mong magsulat para matuloy ‘yung time frame. Pero hindi naman kasi ‘yun lagi nasusunod, and that’s alright. Truth be told, mas marami akong naedit sa ibang stories ko na wala pa napublish kaysa sa book na kailangan kong tapusin dahil nakapub na. But, finally, after 21 long days, nakapagsulat na ‘ko ng bagong chapters at naayos ang chapters ng ROOD.

            I’m sorry for revising and changing it so often. ROOD is my first published book. Each change, mistake, and development I make contributes to my learning and growth as a writer. I hope you can understand that and continue to support my book still. 
            
            I ask for everyone’s understanding, support, and sincere feedback on my book. To those who still continue to read my book, kung meron pa man, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU so much. I appreciate every one of you.

MESSAGE THREAD | 3/4 
            
            Updates — I started writing this book last April 29. It’s been a month since I published ROOD. I’ve been diligent enough to update new chapters everyday—if not everyday, at least every other day. But, because a writer like me has moments wherein I lose motivation to write, lose ideas, and find myself pushing aside my book, I am now having SLOW UPDATES for ROOD. + My summer will soon be ending and will have to prioritize my academics first. Updates will not be everyday or every other day now, but I promise that as much as I can, I will try to update.

            What’s new now? 
            
            Chapters’ length — The original length I had for each chapter was 2100-2800 word count only. However, recently I changed it to 3000-4000 word count per chapter, meaning, I joined the past chapters I wrote to make the chapters shorter. I realized this wasn’t a smart move kasi the way I see it, medyo nakakawalang gana kapag sobrang haba kada chapter. Hence, I changed the chapters back to the original word count plan I had done. 
            
            Chapters’ content — Nothing much changed in the first four chapters, just minor corrections, details, and additional mini events. Of course, that does not include new chapters.

ANNOUNCEMENT | Good afternoon, everyone! JD here. 
          
          The chapters of ROOD (Remnants of Our Dream) has been edited. Chapters are now longer, but the contents are just the same. Chapter 8 is now updated in the half of Chapter 5. Read Chapter 5 now! <3
