Crystal Gift Castillo, a young writer and student of Toboso National High School, carries with her both the flame of knowledge and the soul of an artist. As part of the Science, Technology, and Engineering strand and a committed SSLG officer, she has found strength in leadership and purpose in service, where her voice and talent shine with quiet brilliance.

Her heart, however, belongs to the world of art. With a brush in hand and stories in mind, she paints and writes not only for herself but for the world she dreams of. She delights in sketching and painting scenes of beauty, in weaving words into stories that stir emotion, and in raising her voice through song. Dance, too, is her language-graceful in tango and elegant in the slow waltz, she moves as though every step were poetry in motion.

Crystal's works are more than expressions of creativity; they are offerings of love. Every canvas, every word, every note of her song is dedicated to her special someone-her muse, her anchor, her inspiration. She believes that loving him is also a way of loving herself, for he reflects back to her the strength, passion, and beauty she sometimes forgets she carries.
