I'm a YA writer and my debut novel, FOR THE RECORD, is coming from Delacorte/Random House in Fall 2015. It's about a regular high school girl who replaces the lead singer in an already famous rock band and goes on tour. I'm a member of Freshman15s, a wonderful group of authors who all have YA debuts coming out in 2015. 

I live in Los Angeles with my family but I love to travel and get away as often as possible! It can be a short road trip or a trip around the world--I just enjoy seeing different things. The most unusual place I've ever been is Tibet. I was thirteen and I met a monk my age which totally blew my mind. I remember thinking he was so much smarter and more mature than I was. He probably still is.

When I'm home, I read as much as I can (mostly YA), see lots of shows/concerts and movies, go to the beach and do yoga. I like staying busy!
