            “ my mother loves EVERYBODY .  you’re not special .  ” ezra scoffed , it wasn’t entirely untrue but it wasn’t entirely THE truth either .  ezra’s mother was a kind woman , though to LOVE somebody was rare .  not that she hated him , of course but many were seen as competition to his career .  “ i think you being there would balance things out enough .  ” he joked , allowing the other to mess with his hair .

“ excuse me,  your mother loves me. ”  he steps forward,  hands already in ezra’s hair.  elliot takes his time settling the stray pieces,  enjoying the proximity while he can.  “ do you want to look like an idiot out there  ? ”

            “ i LOVE fake plants .  didn’t you know that ?  it says that in several magazines i’ve been in  ,  guess you’ve just never checked those ‘about me’ sections .  ” ezra answered with confidence , knowing the other wouldn’t buy into it , not one bit .

elliot laughs,  loud and obnoxious,  “ really  ?  that’s the best you can come up with  ?  i didn’t know you liked staring at fake plants. ”

            “ i wasn’t staring .  you just..  are in the way of what i was ACTUALLY looking at  ,  yeah .  ”

            “ aw  ,  did someone not get their beauty rest ?  pity .  you’re lucky that I’M here to save you .  ”  

“  yes i read the script  !  i’m just tired,  it’s been a hard week.  ”

            “ jeez..  i really forgot how much of a lightweight you are .  ” ezra let out a bemused chuckle , hands reaching out to support the other without really thinking .  “ come on  ,  we should get going .  wouldn’t want any cameras catching us like this  ,  now would we ?  ”
            
            / i feel like ezra could throw a couple back before getting REALLY drunk , so he often has to drag elliot home < / 3

“  nuh uh  !  i’m not even drunk  !  i only had like  …  three or four or something drinks  !  but it’s true either way,  you aaare a pretty boy  !  ”  he leans against ezra,  arm wrapped around his waist.

            a glare was only offered in return before the asian-american man let out a huff from his chest whilst he folded his arms .  “ now that’s just rude .  you seriously doubt me ?  i’ve sang in movies before and all the directors said i was great at it !  ” he couldn’t help but pout , though his eyes never seemed to look away .  “ ouch..  you’re really hurting my feelings today .  feel as though i could use a kiss from all these wounds you’re giving me .  ”
            
            / YESS , they sicken me already (i love them..)

he ruffles his hair out of its style,  curls messy.  “  oh,  please don’t.  you’d make a fool out of yourself.  wait  —  then you should do it  !  it’d be fun to watch.  ”  elliot snorts as his shirt is next to come off,  only to be replaced with a casual tee.  “  you wish i did.  i’ve just learned to tune you out.  ”
            
            *     CUTE i just know elliot LOVEEES it but would never admit it

            “ maybe i should have a singing career too .  i’d do CRAZY numbers on music streaming services .  ” he couldn’t help but smile at the thought , or that’s what he told himself .  definitely not at the sight in front of him .  “ something tells me you just wanna hear me talk .  you like my voice that much  ,  elli ?  ”

            “ because you’re easy and predictable  ,  plus who wouldn’t want to poison someone this good-looking ?  man—  burgers sound so good right now .  my manager doesn’t let me have anything fun !  ”

“  aw,  damn it.  how did you figure out my brilliant and foolproof plan  ?  no  —  now do you want burgers or sushi  ?  ”
