Hii, so originally the plan I had was for Daella to be with both Aemond and Aegon but after a while Alys would end up using her magic to turn them against Daella. Daella would then be forced to run away with Elys after Aemond stabbed her in the middle of the night and she went to Driftmark to raise an army against Rhaenyra where then we’d have the final battle on dragonstone. With all the anger built up inside of her Daella ends up making Rhaenyra watch as she slaughters her entire family before killing Rhaenyra. With Aegon and Aemond distracted because of Alys’ magic Daella stormed the Red Keep killing all three of when she finds them in bed as well as anyone who was on Aegons side and crowns herself queen. The epilogue was going to reveal that Daella was pregnant with triplets and was able to rebuild the Targaryen house as well as their dragons but never married as her trust in men was destroyed. She never found out the truth that the men she loved were bewitched and forced to turn against her. We also don’t know who the father of triplets were. She had 2 girls and a boy who grew up being taken care of by Daella and Elys since he was their older brother. The chapter would end with Elys taking over the shadow of men, her other son being crowned king after Daella died of old age.
Both the books i completed had happy endings hence why I wanted to give this one a dark ending.
I’ve read countless of books both online and on paper and I can say with certainty that “Pedrify” had the most kind-blowing plot twists I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. This book didn’t simply rattle me it annihilated me. Whilst I’ve only just finished this absolute masterpiece I can honestly say that I would give anything to be able to read it for the first time again. The characters have been portrayed and written beautifully. Keep up the amazing work x
