Christina Brandal was born and raised in Western North Carolina. She's spent over fifteen years in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, has been married to her husband for over sixteen years (her very own happily ever after love story) and has two daughters. She loves the beach, the city, and the mountains-please don't ask her to choose! Her favorite color is purple, and she loves hot tea!
Christina's love for writing began when she was a teenager and showed itself in the form of poetry and short stories that expressed her feelings on faith and the world around her.
As she grew older the format changed but the writing continued as Christina explored the world of journalism via a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. She attended the World Journalism Institute during its early years in Asheville, NC and wrote freelance feature stories for the Times-News in Hendersonville, NC and did an internship for Soundings, a civilian-run military newspaper that covered all branches of the U.S. Military, based out of Norfolk, VA.
After several years away from writing, her love of telling stories was rekindled and after dabbling in fan fiction she began writing her own original stories. The first of those, The Color of Love, a wholesome romance, was released in July 2019. She has since released a two-book series, A New Story and The Next Chapter. Her fourth book, Love Unexpected, released July 2020.
