Guys, I need some help with something.

I mentioned in my previous post that I want to rewrite "My Little Rae of Sunshine" and replace it with a fanfiction based on the film "Malcolm and Marie," but I'm stuck on how I wanted to set my timeline.

Should I set this story out between:

          	a) 1995-98
          	b) 1997-99
          	c) 1998-2000/01

I want to know which one would be better, as this will include music from Lenny Kravitz's Circus and Lenny albums.

Happy May, Wattpad community!!

This month will probably be rather busy for me over the next few weeks (life stuff, you know how it is), but I have been doing a little planning in the background.

          (*cue evil plotting music*)

I've decided that I'm going to make a fanfiction (kind of, the idea is still in the works) based on the Netflix movie Malcolm and Marie (fun fact, this movie is a part of the Euphoria timeline so imagine my surprise especially since we are getting a mess of season 3, definitely WASTED POTENTIAL AFTER FOUR YEARS OF WAITING) but with a major twist - it's a rewrite-ish within the universe I created with My Little Rae of Sunshine several years prior. So everything in that trilogy is going to be replaced with an even better one, including everyone's favourite: Lenny Kravitz (he is super hot and not enough people talk about it so I volunteer-).

The basic pitch is this: set in the '90s, Malcolm and Marie have a niche friendship. Malcolm is an aspiring musician who's running from the past, and Marie is run towards an identity crisis after she accidentally lies about being a record executive to him despite not knowing a single major label. This follows a turn of events that sees the duo rock their way through New York and it takes the truth to send it all crashing down.

I've concluded that this will be (obviously) three parts: Part One will be either set in 1995-98 or 1997 to 2000. Part Two will be 2018-2019 (or perhaps continue from 2014), and Part Three may take place between 2023 and 2024.

Everything is still in the works, but I am building up to it.

As for Riders of Havoc Volume 3, it's still progressing so I'll see if I can spend the summer continuing it in time for a possible Volume 4.

Anyways, I'll be going to bed as I am watching Michael tomorrow with my family. Fun.

Today marks ten years (literally a decade) since we lost Prince. I'll never forget the day I turned into a fan of his music, a complete work of dedicated art.

I was only ten when I discovered that he passed, and was much younger when I first heard When Doves Cry and 1999 on the radio in my mum's old car. This was before I knew the concept of genres and decades, and he became the reason I was so tuned into music from the 80s and 90s.

Let Prince's legacy live on through time and space. ❤

Happy Easter Sunday, fellow Wattpad community!

I need to keep reminding myself that this still exists, lol.

I've started listening to Lenny Kravitz since last weekend, and I'll admit: he's my new celebrity crush to date (sorry Nikki Sixx, but after that lawsuit with Mick Mars, I am now demoting you from the top 5) as he's SUPER GORGEOUS.

How I have missed out on this, I have no idea. His name was familiar to me because I had seen his daughter, Zoe, in High Fidelity almost two years ago (probably because of heartbreak), and the only song I ever listened to by Lenny was "Are You Gonna Go My Way" from his third album. Of course, that was a lie, as there was another song that I've encountered from when I was a lot younger called "It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over" on the radio in my mum's old car. And me having no sense about genres, I thought it was a seventies one-hit wonder song.

After watching The Hunger Games (out of boredom and needing something to engage with), I was shocked to find out beforehand that Lenny was in the first two movies (his character Cinna is my favourite, JUSTICE FOR CINNA FOR THOSE WHO KNOW) as well as another movie, "Precious", as Nurse John (the way he said to Precious "Stop screaming" when she's about to give birth had me wheeeeeezing ).

That's when I started listening to more of his music and interviews (and fangirling over photos of him-), and I started thinking: "Why hadn't I made 'My Little Rae of Sunshine' or 'When Rock Meets Melody' about him?"

Because I am tempted to rewrite the series with Lenny as a main character, alongside excerpts from "Malcom and Marie" on Netflix (sprinkle in some "Euphoria"), and let my imagination run a little wild.

And honestly, this would work out a little better than my initial idea of having Tom Cruise's character, Stacee Jaxx, from Rock of Ages.

If you will excuse me, I am going to have a chocolate hangover. ‍

@cinnam0n_sugars Thank you, your words truly made my day! <3 I'm reading your story "Riders of Havoc, Vol II" and loving it <3 (just a bit slow lately in commenting and voting between Wattpad, Inkitt and the app acting up! But I'm keeping up!! <3)

@GGreen888 Hi GiGi! Apologies for the late reply, had been very busy and inactive on Wattpad for a while. Your story so far is very reminiscent of the '60s highlights of rock 'n' roll lifestyle, and I'm very much enjoying every second of it. Robert, from my perspective, has so much mystery to him until he starts recalling his childhood and the challenges he had to face with his family, including adulthood. I'm always left wondering what happens next and that's one of the best things about anticipation.

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! Long time no see, for love is in the air (not for me, obviously). ❤

The last few weeks have been rather hectic since I started volunteering at a charity shop, which kept me busy. It has been A WHILE since my last update, so hopefully, this may kick off what I have planned for this year, and we're already in month 2 of 2026.

As some may have noticed, the first 6 chapters (excluding Chapter Index) of Riders of Havoc Volume 2: Three Demonic Treasures are finally out! The last half (now the last three with chapters 10-12 coming out between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.) is slowly coming out today, so get your notifications on in case you miss it!

It took a long time (especially since I've had a long writer's block break between last year and the last 2 months) getting photos and sorting out music from the anime soundtrack.

After getting this story out on Wattpad, I'm a bit in the mood to start writing Volume 3: BLOODY POWER FAME (named after the song used in the BASTARD!! OP by coldrain), and then (surprise), start planning Volume 4 (I'm keeping notes and the official title under wraps for now) afterwards.

I'm looking forward to continuing this fanfiction series that's based on the anime (and the manga included), so hopefully I'll get enough time this year to have it all ready. I'll do another update soon when the dust settles.

But I hope you guys can enjoy Volume 2! It has some lore behind Arshes's story that I originally planned to include in Volume 1, but it felt too soon, so I scraped it for Volume 2 (and hints of a romance between her and Dark Schneider; I'M NOT USING THE ADPOTIVE DAUGHTER NARRATIVE THAT IS IN THE ORIGINAL SERIES AS IT IS SUPER CREEPY, AND IT WOULD BE A LOT BETTER HAVING A SLOW-BURN ROMANCE INSTEAD) but there's an even bigger plot twist that I'm saving for Volume 3 that may connect the dots all together.

Since the start of 2026, I have found myself gaining a recent hyper-fixation on Tom Cruise.

Before you guys try to convince me that it is a bad idea, hear me out. I am already aware of the Scientology BS.

Before, I didn't think much of him, except that time when he played Lestat de Lioncourt in Anne Rice's movie adaptation of Interview with the Vampire in 1994. Other films, such as Jerry Maguire, Collateral and American Made, were the only films I had seen that had him in them.

Until I watched the first four Mission: Impossible films and Top Gun. I'll admit, I can see why people liked them so much, and I don't blame them because I like them as well.

I'll now add my list of favourite movies featuring Tom Cruise:

          - Mission: Impossible 2
          - Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (fourth movie)
          - Interview with the Vampire (obviously)
          - Mission: Impossible 3
          - American Made
          - Top Gun (1986)

The reason I'm posting this now is that I have seen pictures of Tom Cruise playing a rockstar character named Stacee Jaxx in Rock of Ages, and I'm planning on watching that movie so I can make a fanfic about it.

This involves My Little Rae of Sunshine because I am on the verge of rewriting the entire trilogy and restarting from scratch. I enjoyed and spent a lot of time investing in Sixx:A.M. three years ago, but over the last few weeks, listening to their music (which is really good) doesn't feel the same after working on a fanfic series. "Behind the Silver Moon Lining" took over a year, and I repeatedly made changes to "Modern Vintage Vinyl" whilst at college and constantly thinking of ideas. The process was draining most days, but I wanted to push through and finish it so that I could move on to something new.

My idea for this concept fanfic is almost similar to the plot of "My Little Rae of Sunshine" and "Behind the Silver Moon Lining", but mushed together with the plot of "Rock of Ages" (ONCE I HAVE A CHANCE TO SEE IT).

What do you guys think I should do?
