i've been wanting to watch 'smile' but i just found out a cat dies in it so never mind lmfao. i will NOT be watching any movie, specifically a horror movie, if an animal dies

imo, you're not missing out !! i love horror ( & didn't know that the cat died prior to seeing it ) and still found the movie to be underwhelming. it's eerie in a certain aspect, but it was overshadowed by cheap kills (ie. the cat :( ) and a copout ending. there are other scary ass movies where no animals die <33

even without the cat thing, smile is the only movie that’s ever given my mom a full-blown panic attack — it’s very eerie. definitely gives you a strange feeling as well, and i’m not one who’s often unnerved by horror movies. i don’t scare easily either, actually haven’t found another movie that really bothers me, but even i was uncomfy. :,)
