Outliers will be getting a little rewrite to boost my motivation and reshape it. I want it to be a different POV or angle on Yellowjackets if that makes sense! That being said these are a few of the changes I want to make:
One) Focusing on the teen timeline. I feel like I’ll be able to get a concise story if I focus solely on the teen timeline for a bit so when I write the adult one, I’ll have a better idea of what I want to do.
Two) Leaning into the psychological/horror aspect. While I do believe there is a supernatural aspect and I will include it, I want to show more of their mental deterioration.
Three) I may not always follow the canon. I obviously won’t do anything drastic but I just wish somethings went differently and since this is my fic, I want to explore that! I understand some people may not like that but I think it’s the best course of action for me personally!
As for the current chapters, I will be rewriting some bios, replacing the 2021 scene and do some basic editing. You don’t have to reread it as it doesn’t stray too far from what’s there but you’re more than welcomed to!! Thank you for the support and I will be updating soon!
