            xinyi blinked at the other for a moment  —  unusually silent before a wide smile spread over his face.  "too late!  my ego has already grown!"

            xinyi kept up the act for a few more moments before slowly slumping in defeat.  "yeah  ,  I know  ..  "  a huff was given.  "I just  —  don't like being wrong."

    `` i know , im just looking out for you kid . you know that right ? `` he gave a small brow raise as he finished wrapping the injury .

            "you're not the boss of me  ..  "  he mumbled in return.  he glared at the injury that was being wrapped.  it had been a stupid mistake  —  he was   /  tired  /   and he probably shouldn't have been out.  not that he'd admit that.

            "did you forget?"  xinyi let out a gasp.  "are you ..  developing dementia??  do we need to put you in a home?"

      `` i have never seen you wear glasses before . `` he gave an unimpressed look . `` i need those . ``

            "you're a liar!  a big one!"  he pokes kwan's side a few times.  "we didn't even patrol today.  I   /  know  /   you aren't tired.  you can't trick me ..  "

     ``  super heavy . `` he groans when xinyi crawls even more into his personal space . he gave the boy's forehead a flick . `` yea , but im like super tired right now , so that means im like super weak right now . `` he continued on playfully . he couldn't hide the smile on his face though .

            "I am   /  not  /  !!"  he exclaimed in offense.  xinyi made a point to crawl even further into kwan's space  ,  sticking his tongue out as he did.  "you're a hero.  you should be able to handle my weight."

            xinyi looked the other over skeptically.  he didn't   /  look  /   like he was lying  ,  but the teen was well aware that looks could be deceiving.  "  ..  I'm not supposed to be patrolling tonight.  I thought you were with hq  —  didn't want it getting called in."  if this person   /  had  /   been with them  ,  then he would have snitched already.  so he was either a villain or support called in from somewhere else.

            ¹³  he can sense someone's emotions as long as he's five feet away from them.
            
                 *  COMMON   (  og power accuracy :  85%  )
            
                 *  if he's not careful  ,  he can accidentally latch on to someone else's emotions and begin to experience them himself.
            
                 *  it feels like the emotions are physically touching him.  if they're strong enough  ,  he can even perceive them through sound and taste.
            
            ¹⁴  he can place a tracker on someone  ,  allowing him to know their condition at all times  ,  but not their exact location.  the location will only be revealed when the person is injured.
            
                 *  COMMON   (  og power accuracy :  60%  )
            
                 *  the tracker will immediately reactivate when he gets the power again.  
            
                 *  he has to touch them to place it and remove it.
            
            ¹⁵  he can glide  ,  but not fly.  he's able to create small gusts of win  —  not enough to harm  ,  but enough to allow him to get into the air.
            
                 *  UNCOMMON   (  og power accuracy :  65%  )
            
                 *  he forms a pair of wings upon using this power.  he can't make them go away  ,  but they are hidden from sight via cloaking.  if anyone touches him when the power's active  ,  then they'll be able to see them.
            
                 *  he can't summon wind if he's moving at a fast speed.

¹⁰  when he's talking to someone  ,  he can make time stand still.  they have to continue talking  ,  the moment silence lasts for more than a few seconds  ,  the power deactivates.  
            
                 *  RARE   (  og power accuracy :  35%  )
            
                 *  he can only stop time for himself and one other.  if he's talking to multiple people then he can't activate the power.
            
                 *  they have to remain immobile when in this state.  they can move their upper body  ,  but their feet must remain where they were from the start.  
            
            ¹¹  he can turn objects that resemble weapons into actual ones.  he could turn a water gun or a foam sword into actual weapons.  they won't change forms though  —  they maintain their original look.  but suddenly the water gun is firing bullets and the foam is sharp enough to cut.
            
                 *  UNCOMMON   (  og power accuracy :  70%  )
            
                 *  only he can use these weapons.  they'll revert back to their original form if someone else tries to.
            
                 *  the more he uses the ability  ,  the more tired he gets.  if he's not careful he could fall asleep in the middle of a combat.  this is something he can't avoid.
            
            ¹²  he can voice things into existence  ,  but only things that affect another person  —  and it's usually only a positive effect.  so he could make someone stronger or heal them.
            
                  *  RARE   (  og power accuracy :  50%  )
            
                 *  he can only use this five times.  after that  ,  he'll lose his ability to speak.
            
                 *  he  CAN  give someone a negative effect  ,  but it'll affect him as well  ,  but worse than the person he gave it to.  he tends to avoid this  ,  but he'll use it in emergency situations.

            ⁷  a constant adrenaline rush will be activated upon using this power.  it can't be turned off  ,  meaning he will continue to be in this state until he inactivates the power.
            
                 *  RARE   (  og power accuracy :  40%  )
            
                 *  if he's not careful  ,  he can enter a state of panic because of this.
            
                 *  he won't feel pain when using this power.  he's completely unaware of the state of his body.  he won't know he's severely harmed until he's passing out  —  or worse.
            
                 *  he's extremely impulsive when in this state.  reckless and wild  —  could also be described as insane
            
            ⁸  he can force fear on to someone  ,  but only when he himself is feeling fear.  the person will feel double the amount of fear he's feeling.  
            
                 *  COMMON   (  og power accuracy :  65%  )
            
                 *  his control over this one depends on his own mental state at the time.  if he's not careful  ,  the power could backlash and make   him   experience double the amount of fear.
            
                 *  he won't stop feeling fear until the person affected by his power breaks free of it.  it's out of his control  —  there's no way to bypass this.
            
            ⁹  he can gain all the knowledge from a book  —  but only by eating it.  yes  ,  he has to eat a book for this ability to work.
            
                 *  RARE   (  oh power accuracy :  80%  )
            
                 *  considering all that's needed is to eat some paper  ,  his control over this one is fine.  the only thing that's iffy is when he gains the knowledge.  it doesn't flow easily  —  he has to sort through everything in his mind.  it usually ends in a headache.  this is a power you'll never see him use in combat.
            
                 *  his digestive system adapts when he's using this power.  he won't ruin his stomach by consuming something he really shouldn't be.
