i literally started twd 2 weeks ago and binged the doctor last weekend + re read it 3 times this week. i think i have a slight problem . i haven’t even reached season 5 yet and i cannot believe cass is not canon (she is to me okay?). also, i am not prepared for glenns death, have been avoiding watching bcs of it. can’t wait for more of your writing elle!! i’m about to start the soldier

ahh thank you so much!! that’s so kind of you! honestly i’d say practice is the BEST way. i’d write the scenes i was most excited about when fighting writing block. it took me from mid 2021 to 2024 to finish the doctor so it’s a LONG process!! reading others is also great for inspiration but what i did was avoided reading any Rick fanfics bc i didnt want to accidentally copy anyone LOL. I also have a thesaurus app that i would use for vocabulary! write a draft and don’t worry about it being good, that’s why it’s a draft! and then go back and edit it, that’s something i had to work on :)) wishing you the best im sure your writing is INCREDIBLE!! and AHHH you got meeee im unfortunately in writers block and struggling a bit with their story!! but i will let you know when im working on it love, tysm!!! xxxxx

hi hon, i did take a peek and i think the writing is very creative and i love how detailed you made certain moments! please continue to write and express yourself, you’re already incredible at it! My only problem is your main character being a minor, which is concerning if her love interest truly is rick. im guessing you’re also young and a minor so you might not think much is wrong about it, but it paints rick in an uncharacteristic and disturbing light because he would ever be interested in a child (yes, 17 is still a child to anyone who is a grown adult i promise you). its not my intention to be mean, its simply my input for you, as its a bit unsettling to read. Rick is undoubtedly not that kind of character. Again, i assume you’re also a minor and i understand where you’re coming from, and encourage you to keep writing and being creative, but i cannot support a book that pairs rick with a minor.
