Hello! My name's C.J. O'Farrell, but you can call me C.J. for short. I'm an aspiring novelist/ poet. My hobbies include drawing, horticulture, baking, sewing, embroidering, singing, playing guitar, and photographing my cousin's cat. I'm fascinated by the far away, but enchanted by the idea of domestic life. Nothing appeals to me more than curling up with a good book, a cuddly cat, and a cup of Jasmine Green or Earl Grey tea. I'm learning how to play the guitar and mandolin and how to sew proper garments. 
As far as my writing is concerned, I enjoy covering a variety of topics. I particularly enjoy writing coming of age stories in fantastical settings, with relatable characters and believable world building.I'm a full time student, so I'm tight up on writing time, but I manage. I try to read as much as I can between school work and sitting on the beach, snow or shine. 
I've been working on my current novel for three years now, creating a universe and the folks who inhabit the snowy mountains and once lush desert plains. Though I'm a bit shy when it comes to sharing, I hope to post a few blurbs and bits for you fine people to read. Till then, I'll be putting up a bit of poetry and a short story here and there.
