The thing about first attempts is it doesn't matter so much whether or not it's good, just that you're attempting it. So many people say they want to write but never do it, so kudos to you for doing it! There's so much to learn in this craft; practice is critical. So keep writing. Have you read Stephen King's On Writing yet? I recommend it to clients and fellow writers all the time. :) Best to you!
