one day maybe i'll return to wattpad, i'll read all the fics in my library, i'll finish the ones i've posted, i'll look at my 1.4k notifs. i'll finish all the fics i was obsessed with, get back in touch with all the authors i follow. but i've found a new home in ao3 and i'm staying here for a while. who knows? i might return at some point. but for now, even though i've been gone for months, i want to leave this note for future me, when i do inevitably, return. the era's been over for a long time and so much has changed since i was last here. (i wonder how much will have changed when i next read this?) writing this really feels like i'm closing the book. 
i have so many memories here, every time i just enter my library. i can't leave those behind. i don't want to. even re-opening this and scrolling through my lists brings back so much, and i want to remember it all, but at times it's too painful, too many thoughts swarming at once. one day i'll reread all my favourite fics, cry again at the saddest ones, laugh and scream again at the funniest ones (all of them). i'll have my heart broken when y/n's does, when [cc!]'s does. i'll cry with happiness when they kiss, when they defeat the bad guy. i'll break again at those forever incomplete fics i loved so much. i'll remember the authors i still follow, those i don't. the fics i was obsessed with, those first ones i ever read.
i hope that i return some time in the future. i know that i will. and i hope that when i do, i'll have as much fun as those first days i spent on this site.
