As you may or may not know, I am a notoriously slow writer as my need to try and get things right is very important to me. This story does have a conclusion and it is nearing that.           We haven't seen you around in a while. I hope you are well and everything is alright. I was wondering if you'll continue "Given and Denied", because it's a pity not to. You are so talented, and this story is such a wonderful, meticulously written, respectful and realistic tribute to our beloved Alan (as well as the previous one, "Tears from the Moon", which I adored). It has all the ingredients, from psychological analysis to funny or tensed situations, and witty remarks. Gwen, with all her defects and insecurities, is a deliciously complicated character. And Alan, with all the mystery and charm that surrounds him, is portrayed so accurately, that it makes me love and miss him even more. 
          So, don't give up, you're doing a great job!

@simo1543 Thank so very much for all of your extremely kind comments.  This means the absolute world to me, but as you may know I am a notoriously slow writer,  who also suffers from writers block now and again.  In order to continue to maintain the dignitary of the characters,  especially dear Alan I had to think long and hard about where I want this story to go.  It is very near to completion now,  but I didn't want it to just fade out.  I need a big ending.  At last I think I have it and will endeavour to finish it very,  very soon.  Thank you again for your wonderful,  heartfelt support.  I hope I won't let you down.

I have already done a rough draft of the next chapter and I'm now in the process of going through it all, tweaking it here and there until I am absolutely happy with the final product for your enjoyment. I am, by nature a notoriously slow writer but have been happily spurred on by the interest I have recently received. Thank you once again for your continued support. It is without doubt very much appreciated. X

I've never thought that my writing was very good to be honest with you, I just really enjoy doing it. Hi Antim123's ! I hope you will continue to update this story, coz you know..let be honest this story can be rolled up into a film. Your story is different from the other fan fiction story that I've read ( I'm not degrading other author's tho..they all good) but then, the difference of your story is..it has a thrilled and mystery (for me) but then it always has a love... I can't fully explained it...Urghh I'm being crazy.. 
          
          Anyway.. Hey you lovely author! I hope you're doing great there and wish you'll continue to update this wonderful story and wont be tired to keep this more interesting! Have a great writing mwuaa!
