As of today, I've got 2 0 drafted to "an end". Editing Hicks & Fairies to post sometime next week. The other two need around 10K between them to "an end".

Currently have published past my 8K for NPC.
Will be entering it after I get everything in order (within the hour.)

I forgot to announce the 8K and entry was done on Hicks & Fairies.

Currently, Assassin's Cradle is written and partially edited close to 8K.
That Witch Inherits is written to almost 20K and partially edited close to 8k.
One of them will be up no later than tomorrow, and the other before the end of the 30th, if I keep on track.

I'm not sure the rest of this story will go the way your interests do, but I think you'll get something out of reading the first chapter.

I am going to try to "get a feel for the competition," and READ at least a few chapters, this year. (psh, I write for this competition because it gives me a deadline to work against, not to win it, so I don't expect anyone to feel like a rival, right?)

I've got a ton of "under 10 chapters" in the first search (and via my notifications), enough so that I could read one a day (and fuss myself for any day I miss), but I'm just impressed by those who are close to done already. That's more discipline than I have in me.
