Putting this here: I've been trying some things out with fictional writing and i figured this this could be some kind of ending excerpt to some enemies to lovers story. Let me know what you think!
Kai fell to the ground, blood slowly spilling out of his open wound. “Y-you win.” He said with a smile. Tristan dropped his blade and ran to him, tears already welling up his ice blue eyes. He knelt at Kai’s side. He snuck his arm underneath Kai’s back, trying to sit him up. “I’m sorry it had to be like this.” He said, a tear falling out of his eyes and dropping onto Kai’s bloodstained shirt. Kai said softly, “I just want you to be safe. With me out of the picture, you have that. I love you.” The light in Kai’s crystal gray eyes slowly disappeared, as they shut. His body goes limp and his smile slowly begins to fade. Tristan hugs the lifeless body close to him, sobbing loudly as night falls, covering them in a blanket of darkness.
