My name is David Dugas Jr ,  I live ten minutes outside of the city of New Orleans. I've had quite an imagination since I was little and have used it in many ways . I grew a passion for writing when I was junior in high school by writing movie scripts. I always loved movies and wanted to be a filmmaker , but after hurricane Katrina hit my life completely changed .   My mom got diagnosed with cancer ,  I had  no time  to try for school or independent filming. Her last months on Earth I started a new passion , story writing and  ever since then I write on my spare free time. I have recently gotten into short stories , but novel writing is my true passion. I am still learning and developing ways to get  better , my main mission is to get my work out to the public for others to hopefully enjoy my stories as I enjoy writing them. My two favorite books of all time is The Shining and Frankenstein , with Stephen King being my biggest idol to writing. My favorite genre is horror , fantasy , mystery and thrillers.
