            “ but caz — i don’t want to make jun unconscious!! ” she protested. in all honesty, she didn’t mind caz’s tendency to be overprotective. in fact, it even made more sense to be now. jun was a new person, and sayuri knew caz wasn’t used to that at all, considering it had always just been the two of them. on top of that, caz undoubtedly wouldn’t trust him easily, but of course, it didn’t help that they annoyed each other.  “ i do appreciate you looking out for me though! ” she offered a smile, before responding to the other thing he had said. 
            
            “ the insincerity in that is so incredibly obvious — ” she insisted, following her instinct despite what he said. “ you can tell me what’s up, you know. ”

❝ if you're going to be hanging about with that camera cunt  then believe me you will . ❞ caz wasnt one to normally care much at all about what others got up to but the younger girl had been his first real friend in japan and he had the tendency to be overprotective at times. 
            
            her question caught him off-guard , he thought he'd done well to throw her off his tail but then again there was a reason that sayuri was the only current member of the detective club. caz gave her a faint smile that altered into a reassuring, pompous smirk . ❝ absolutely  darling ❞ he replied, with an overly exaggerated accent

            “ oh — ” she reached out and took the list from him, scanning what was written. “ i’m sure i won’t need this, but thanks anyway! i think? ” with that, she folded up the list and stuck it inside her own backpack. 
            
            “ are you okay, by the way? ” she questioned, “ you just seem a little...off. ” she finished, looking at him softly.
