My favorite thing is taking a trope and turning it around, and inside out, or just poking fun at them all together! I also love weaving different plot lines together with unexpected twists. My mission is to write uplifting escapism with characters you would love to hang out with for real!

Chinese costume dramas- A Dream Within a Dream, Blossoms in Adversity, The Long Ballad, Mr. Bad (not necessarily fully costume)

God obviously-the Bible- Fave Bible Story: Esther, Parable: Wedding Fest, The Sower
Classics- Jane Austen, Elizabeth Gaskell, Louisa May Alcott, Charles Dickens (although his villains are ugh!) Lucy Maud Montgomery (Anne books)
 (I still haven't fully read Tolkien's LOTR and Lewis' Narnia. I know, shame on me. It's waiting in my library, though.) 
Little Women and Jane Eyre were the first classic novels I read, and they still hold a place in my heart. I grew up loving to read the late Gilbert Morris (If you read POTF, you might catch the name Morris.) 
I like to read a few good Webtoons too.
