DM Gasparillo Adil II is a Filipino writer, essayist, and spoken word poet from Mindanao. He began his literary journey in campus journalism, serving as Editor-in-Chief of The Johnian Gazette (2011-2014) and later of The Mindanao Tech (2018-2019), the official student publication of the University of Southern Mindanao.

Adil is the winner of the 2nd Lagulad Prize (2019) and a finalist in the 3rd Lagulad Prize (2020), both organized by the Cotabato Literary Journal. He also won the Kababalaghan Essay Writing Competition organized by the Sultan Kudarat Writers Association and placed second in the Istoryang Cotabateno Essay Writing Contest by the SK Federation.

A spoken word poetry champion, Adil has performed in various literary events across Mindanao. His works have been published in the Cotabato Literary Journal, The Mindanao Tech, and other regional platforms. His essay, "Leping ni Ama," was later adapted into a true crime podcast episode by Stories After Dark PH.
