I've always wanted to write, but I was scared of starving to death, so I became an emergency doctor who writes in my spare time.

I write a ton of different things, including the Hope Sze medical mysteries, starting with CODE BLUES and NOTORIOUS D.O.C. Publishers Weekly called my latest book, TERMINALLY ILL, "entertaining and insightful." It hit the Kobo Top 50 list of bestsellers.

I write other things for fun, including my women's fiction, like THE LIST, about a woman who makes a list of all the guys she wished she'd had, and goes after them. Simultaneously. (In real life, I married my high school sweetheart, but that's the beauty of fiction, right?)
