Catherine M. Harris is an Ottawa, Ontario, Canada native who has lived in Mississauga and is currently residing in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

She shares her life with a big black lab, a humongous orange cat and a fellow writer and soul mate Jim Wellington.  She is the mother of two grown children, Erin and Ben.  

Catherine currently works full time and spends her spare time writing and painting.  Most of the illustrations and photographs in her books are her own.  

Catherine was a Judge's Choice winner in the Toronto Star Short Story Contest for "Candles", was a Mississauga Library Contest winner and has been published in Storyteller Magazine.
