Hey...it's me Author of the story "MEANT TO BE HIS POSESSION"
I genuinely don’t understand reading an explicitly tagged DARK romance with repeated warnings, reaching Chapter 9, and then acting shocked that the male lead is toxic.
The warnings were there for a reason. This story was never marketed as soft romance or healthy love. The characters are intentionally disturbing, obsessive, manipulative, and morally wrong at times.
Dark fiction is not for everyone, and that’s okay. But please stop treating fictional toxicity as if the author is asking you to approve it in real life. If you’re uncomfortable, you are always free to leave the story peacefully.

Hey Payel, I think there's been a misunderstanding, and I want to clarify that my comment wasn't a personal attack on you or your hard work.
As a doctor, my brain is trained to look at human behavior, trauma, and psychological pathology through a purely clinical lens. When I read those specific lines, my medical instinct immediately recognized the real world signs of severe danger and psychological distress, which is why I reacted the way I did.
I completely respect that fiction is a space to explore dark themes and that you have your warnings in place. I just wanted you to understand that my reaction came from my professional background, not from a place of malice or trying to hate on your book. Wishing you the best with your writing journey.
