I went to NYU for writing. Then I had a mental breakdown and dropped out.

I read a lot. I like French Classics (Candide, The Stranger, etc).

I'm interested in diversifying the Young Adult Fiction genre. My protagonists will almost always be women. A lot of them will be queer. I think it's important for young adults to see themselves represented in the books they read, especially LGBT*, youth of color, youth with disabilities, transgender or gender non-conforming youth. I also think it's incredibly vital that young adult novels show girls that they can be badass, self-reliant, emotional, complex, imperfect, unique, etc.
